EXPERIENCE
David graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now known as UC Law San Francisco). During law school, David participated in the Community Justice Clinic, where he represented individuals in employment related administrative hearings. During his third year in law school and after graduating, David assisted the civil judges in the Contra Costa County Superior Court by conducting legal research and writing draft opinions on various areas of law.
Following his time at the Court, David associated with a firm in Oakland, where he represented corporations in state and federal cases throughout the country. His focus was primarily on commercial contract disputes, toxic torts, and personal injury cases.
David next transitioned to a role with the State of California, where he advocated to ensure life and disability insurance contracts are drafted in a way that is compliant with the law and favorable to consumers.
Through each of these experiences, David gained confidence in his ability to become quickly adept in nearly any aspect of the law. Every family has unique needs, preferences, and dynamics. Because of this, David understands the importance of taking the time to understand his clients’ situation and crafting a solution that precisely addresses their needs.
